Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Processes weekly & bi-weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, year-end procedures and W-2s for multi-state employees.
• Ensures accurate processing of deductions, garnishments, direct deposits, 401K loans, etc.
• Responds to inquiries and verifications for unemployment and payroll data.
• Maintains records, documents procedures, and prepares management reports.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local payroll laws.
• Ensures compliance with company payroll policies.
• Processes weekly, bi-weekly, special compensation, commission and bonus checks with accuracy.
• Counsels and resolves employee payroll issues.
• Creates and analyzes reports as needed.
• Keeps current in payroll trends and regulations.
• Performs special projects or duties when required.

The Payroll Analyst will assist with the processing and coordination all aspects of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for over 3,000 employees in the US & Canada

Description

• Processes weekly & bi-weekly payroll, reports, reconciliations, year-end procedures and W-2’s for multi-state employees.
• Ensures the accurate processing of all mandatory and voluntary deductions as well as garnishments, liens, direct deposit requests, 401K loans, etc.
• Responds to inquiries and verifications for unemployment and other payroll-related data.
• Maintains related records, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.
• Ensures legal compliance in completing all paperwork including all Federal, State and Local laws regarding payroll administration.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as they relate to payroll.
• Processes weekly, bi-weekly, special compensation, commission, and bonus checks with the highest standard of accuracy and timeliness.
• Counsel and resolve employee payroll issues.
• Ability to create and analyze reports on an as needed basis.
• Keeps current in trends and regulations as they relate to the payroll function.
• Perform other special projects or duties when required
