RS2 is seeking a highly analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of its complex payment systems. You will design test strategies, write automated scripts, and validate data flows, with structured training to Master ISO 8583 and core payment architectures.

The role emphasizes automated testing of APIs and transaction processing, collaboration with developers, and deep dives into data payloads to ensure reliability across environments.

Formación

• 2-4 years QA or combined QA and software testing experience.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript for API testing.
• Experience testing complex processing pipelines and parsing nested data (JSON/XML).
• Experience with automated test frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured) and API testing with Postman.
• Strong SQL for data verification of transactions and system states.
• Comfortable with Linux command line for server and test environments.

Responsabilidades

• Test automation: design, write, and run robust automated tests for system functions and APIs.
• Master payment architectures: understand OLTP flows between terminals, acquirers, issuers, and card networks.
• Validate complex data and ISO 8583 messaging including MTIs, bitmaps and field layouts.
• Use simulators/tools (e.g., jPOS) and internal test tools to mimic real-world transaction routing.
• Perform root cause analysis on test failures by inspecting logs and payloads across environments.
• Collaborate with developers to isolate, reproduce, and debug complex transactional issues.
