You will bridge manual requirements and automated execution, employing our testing ecosystem to ensure full coverage and robust end-to-end system health across projects in a multinational context.

Responsabilidades

• Translate complex functional specifications into automated test scripts with high coverage across projects.
• Maintain and monitor End-to-End regression suites to detect regressions quickly.
• Use testing tools to create automated test cases and generate precise data sets.
• Implement automated assertions across databases, APIs, and various file types to ensure data integrity.
• Identify tooling gaps and work to resolve them to enable full automation of tests.
• Operate with a reuse-first mindset, leveraging existing test suites and components.

The Role

Are you a QA specialist who thrives on turning functional requirements into reliable, automated reality? We are looking for an Automation Analyst to join our team. Your mission will be to harness our established testing ecosystem to drive the automation of functional and regression tests.

You will be the bridge between manual requirements and automated execution. By utilizing our suite of required tools, you will ensure that every new feature is functionally sound and that our regression suites provide total peace of mind for our end-to-end system health.

Section 1: Responsibilities

• Functional Automation: Translate complex functional specifications from cross-functional stakeholders into high-impact automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage across every project phase.
• Regression Excellence: Maintain and monitor End-to-End (E2E) regression suites, ensuring they are optimized to detect regressions immediately as the system evolves.
• Mastery of the Toolkit: Use the required testing tools to their full potential to create automated test cases and generate the precise data sets needed for deep-layer validation.
• Automated Assertions & Validations: Implement complex automated assertions across databases, APIs, and various physical file types (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON, Flat Files) to ensure absolute data integrity.
• Identifying Tooling Gaps: Identify any specific gaps in our current tool implementation that prevent a functional test from being fully automated, and work to resolve them to ensure tests can be completed.
• The "Reuse-First" Mindset: Operate with a strict mindset of leveraging and extending existing test suites and modular components to speed up the automation of new requirements.

Requirements

• You have a strong background in Database and Data-Integrity Testing, with a focus on implementing and running tests within established frameworks.
• You have a proven ability to parse and validate various file formats and database records programmatically to ensure accuracy.
• You enjoy working alongside Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts to ensure your automated tests provide the coverage the business needs.
• You understand how a single change ripples through a system and have experience managing the health of long-running regression suites.

Your Technical Toolkit

• PL/SQL Proficiency: Strong previous experience in PL/SQL is essential. You should be able to navigate and query complex database structures with ease.
• Validation Versatility: Proficiency in using tools for API validation and automating checks for physical file types.
• Python (The Asset): Knowledge of Python is a significant asset, specifically for file parsing or extending the capabilities of existing automation scripts.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or similar tools to manage and monitor large-scale regression suites.
