Episode Six is hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to strengthen our payments-focused testing team. You will lead testing efforts across payments, card issuing, and revolving credit, and collaborate with product and engineering to ensure high-quality releases.

The role requires Java proficiency, JUnit expertise, API testing, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins). You’ll design test plans, write automation, and monitor quality metrics to uphold regulatory and security

Formación

• Proficiency in Java and JUnit for testing backend systems.
• Experience testing payments and card industry domains.
• Experience with API (REST) testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• SQL queries for DB testing (MySQL, Cassandra).

Responsabilidades

• Lead testing efforts in the payments, card issuing, and revolving credit domain.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases in JUnit 5.
• Prepare QA policies and procedures.
• Design, develop, and execute automation code.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Track QA metrics and statistics.
• Stay updated with testing tools and strategies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate technical information to team members and customers.
• Collaborate with teams on projects and related tasks.
