You will monitor order flow, correct or re-enter orders as needed, and read patient orders to ensure accuracy. Strong communication with staff and patients is essential, along with understanding pharmacy terminology and dosage references.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and computer entry experience. Knowledge of order processing is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer entry experience necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors the flow of orders to and from the Customer Service Department.
• Deletes, corrects, or re-enters patient orders as deemed necessary.
• Read and analyze documents such as patient orders.
• Comprehend pharmacy prescription terminology.
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and patients alike.
• Calculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensed.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions.
