Atlantic Superstore is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and customer service. You will greet patients, verify prescription details, enter data, handle third party adjudication, and assist Pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service while working across day, evening, night shifts and weekends as needed. A strong computer/data-entry proficiency is required.

Formación

• Pharmacy Assistant experience is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient data entry and computer skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
• Data entry of patient care information
• Third Party adjudication (if necessary)
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
• General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
• Handling customer prescription pick up
