AgileEngine is seeking a Marketing QA Analyst to review outbound email campaigns before they reach customers. You will verify content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements for accuracy.

Work closely with Marketing Operations to validate audience targeting, suppression lists, data integrity, and platform configuration. You will log defects, help improve QA processes, and ensure campaigns comply with brand and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Strong analytical eye — able to catch discrepancies in data, copy, and configuration that others miss.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression requirements.
• Methodical, process-oriented approach; comfortable working from checklists and documented standards.
• Clear communicator — able to describe defects precisely and escape risks without ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate outbound campaigns before deployment — including content, subject lines, personalization, and dynamic elements.
• Verify audience targeting, segmentation, and suppression lists against campaign specs.
• Confirm data integrity: render of merge tags, personalization fields, and offer content for correct audiences.
• Check links, UTM params, and redirect destinations for accuracy.
• Validate platform configuration — send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address.
• Assess campaigns against brand standards, legal/compliance, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects; communicate findings to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in the deployment workflow — campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA frameworks.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards.
