Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in QA, marketing operations, or digital campaign review.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and QA workflows.
• Strong analytical eye and attention to data, copy, and configuration.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting logic, and suppression requirements.
• Methodical, process-oriented with checklists and documented standards.
• Clear communicator able to describe defects precisely.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate outbound campaigns before deployment.
• Verify audience targeting, segmentation, and suppression lists against campaign specifications.
• Validate merge tags, personalization fields, and offer content rendering.
• Check links, UTM parameters, and redirect destinations.
• Validate platform configuration: send settings, throttling, scheduling, from name/address.
• Assess campaigns against brand standards, legal and compliance requirements, and messaging strategy.
• Log and track defects in QA system; communicate findings clearly to Development for resolution.
• Own QA sign-off gates in the deployment workflow—campaigns do not deploy without QA clearance.
• Review quality-related post-launch issues and feed findings back into QA frameworks and checklists.
• Maintain and improve QA documentation, checklists, and testing standards over time.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS email rendering.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise ESP.
• Experience using defect tracking tools (Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of AMPScript or dynamic content logic in campaign platforms.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
