Job summary

The Ward Law Group seeks a Lien Resolution Team Lead to supervise and optimize a team handling lien reductions and post-settlement disbursements for injured clients. You will drive negotiations on complex files, manage metrics, and ensure accurate, timely settlements.

You will oversee high-value liens, collaborate with attorneys, and develop team skills while maintaining strict compliance and client-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years in medical lien resolution or settlement negotiations.
• Must have managed a team of at least five people.
• Knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer rules and AHCA lien process.
• Familiar with ERISA plan reimbursements and collateral sources.
• Strong settlement math and ability to identify money left on table.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post-settlement medical bill and liens.
• Lead the team: supervise, train, and evaluate.
• Own the numbers: track reduction percentage, dollars saved, and turnaround.
• Negotiate high-balance or complex reductions.
• Resolve Medicare and Medicaid liens, AHCA, ERISA, TRICARE, VA.
• Protect the client experience and ensure accurate disbursement.
• Improve processes and ensure compliance.
• Maintain compliance with Florida Bar and trust accounting.
