EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Lead Scala/Java Developer to drive architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure software. You will lead microservice initiatives and partner with global teams to deliver business capabilities.

You will own technical direction, ensure high availability, implement telemetry, and oversee production systems while maintaining security and process excellence across Agile disciplines.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years in software engineering at high volume or large-scale systems.
• 5+ years’ experience in Java, Scala, Kotlin, and REST API/backend services.
• 3+ years working with large distributed systems.
• 2+ years developing and operating services on major cloud providers (AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; English B2+.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality software using Agile/Scrum practices.
• Design and implement microservices and scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with business and technology partners across functions.
• Ensure security and compliance in development and deployment.
• Provide production support and automate monitoring and telemetry.
• Maintain system configurations and 24/7 availability readiness.
