Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and investigate failures to improve reliability.

You’ll collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure testability and acceptance criteria, performing functional, exploratory, and regression testing across features and platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
