Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join a global team, focusing on licensing governance for Latin America and other regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure accurate licensing decisions, compliance, and ongoing optimization of a complex software portfolio.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong understanding of licensing models, and the ability to move quickly between publishers and requests.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management and licensing.
• Strong knowledge of licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience with a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Ability to manage entitlements, renewals, compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and cost optimization.
