Proofpoint is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Unified Detection team in Córdoba, Argentina. You’ll build and deploy large-scale threat detection services, writing clean, tested code and owning small features end-to-end.

You'll work with Python or Golang, across distributed systems and cloud environments, collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented engineering culture. Strong testing and collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IS or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience with Python or Golang.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (AWS/Azure or similar), and containerized workloads.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to moderately complex features and components, ensuring integration with the larger detection system.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and ensure quality through testing.
• Take ownership of smaller features or components with independent delivery.
• Collaborate with teammates and participate in code reviews and retrospectives.
• Identify risks and communicate blockers early to keep timelines.
