Job summary

Clorox is seeking an R&D Packaging Scientist to advance packaging innovation across AMEA markets. You will lead end-to-end packaging development, from concept to scale-up, partnering with multiple functions to meet sustainability and brand goals.

You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global hubs and external manufacturers, while applying data-driven methods and risk assessment to deliver robust packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in packaging development or packaging engineering in CPG sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline; Master's degree adds relevance.

Responsibilities

• Drive packaging innovation across AMEA markets to deliver functional, sustainable, and brand-aligned solutions.
• Own end-to-end packaging development including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Lead pilot and production trials for new packaging components and scale-up processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and external partners.
• Develop and manage packaging specifications, including fill weights and cube data.
• Support commercialization with SOPs, test methods, and best practices.
