Job summary

Clorox is seeking an R&D Packaging Scientist to lead packaging innovation for the AMEA region. You will work across Global R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and external partners to translate regional needs into scalable packaging solutions.

Hybrid role combining hands-on lab work with data‑driven decision making, you’ll drive design validation, testing, and scale‑up for impactful consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Drive packaging innovation: develop solutions that meet functional, regulatory, sustainability and brand needs across AMEA.
• Execute with technical excellence: own end-to-end packaging development from concept to production.
• Own technical specifications: manage fill weights, cube data, diagrams for all packaging levels.
• Advance sustainability commitments: partner with Sustainability to hit 2030 packaging goals.
• Support commercialization: develop SOPs, run trials, analyze results, enable scale-up.
• Collaborate across functions and markets: work with Global R&D, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and partners.
• Strengthen packaging capability: share knowledge and raise technical standards across the organization.
