Sovos is seeking an Implementation Consultant II to guide clients through onboarding and configuration on large-scale projects in Argentina. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver thorough, scalable solutions and ensure a smooth handoff from implementation to operations.

Responsibilities include leading client workshops, documenting architecture, training clients and teammates, and driving process improvements using AI-assisted tools to optimize delivery.

The Role

At Sovos, we're looking for an Implementation Consultant II to guide clients through onboarding and configuration, managing projects from kickoff through successful handoff. You'll work with complex, large-scale implementations and collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.

More specifically, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for large, complex client implementations, managing project plans, risks, and resolution of issues from kickoff through transition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete configuration tasks and deliver thorough solution architecture documentation that supports clients long-term.
• Prepare and manage detailed project plans across multiple initiatives, balancing scope, schedule, and quality while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Lead dynamic working sessions with clients to design technology solutions for business challenges, ensuring a seamless and documented handoff after implementation.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to both clients and teammates, supporting continuous improvement during peak processing times and beyond.
• Identify and implement process improvements across tools, templates, and workflows to strengthen the customer onboarding experience.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline configuration workflows and enhance project delivery efficiency.

What You Bring to Sovos

• You've built solid experience in client implementation, project management, or a related discipline.
• You bring strong knowledge of tax rules and processes relevant to the product market you'll be supporting.
• You have excellent time management, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• You communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal, and can explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• You're comfortable working with AI-assisted tools and workflows to improve configuration and delivery outcomes.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
