Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Compliance Services Associate in Argentina to join a client-focused team delivering tax information reporting and related services. You will manage regulatory deadlines, reconcile data, and resolve issues with precision and care in a hands-on, detail-oriented role.

You'll work with AI-assisted workflows, collaborate with clients, and continuously improve processes while adhering to contractual obligations and quality standards. Background checks may be required.

The Role

At Sovos, we deliver critical tax compliance services to clients who depend on us every day. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner and extension of our clients' compliance teams, managing regulatory deadlines, reconciling tax data, and solving problems with precision and care. It's hands-on, detail-oriented work that keeps businesses compliant and confident.

More Specifically, You Will

• Deliver client services using Sovos' Tax Information Reporting (1099), Affordable Care Act, Sales and Use Tax Reporting, FATCA, Unclaimed Property, and Certificate Management software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every step.
• Ensure compliance with IRS, state, and local government requirements by adhering to internal policies, client-specified procedures, and regulatory deadlines.
• Interact directly with clients on a regular basis, serving as a trusted resource for service delivery, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
• Support compliance workflows with data reconciliation, research, and problem-solving tasks as directed by senior team members.
• Leverage AI tools and workflow automation to identify process improvements, reduce risk, and participate in internal efficiency projects.

What You Bring to Sovos

• You've built foundational experience in client service, compliance support, or a related field that required attention to detail and accountability.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients in English.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort learning new software quickly.
• Excellent client service skills with an emphasis on active listening, clear documentation, and responsive communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You're detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and a curiosity about how technology can improve service delivery.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
