Job summary

Sovos in Argentina is seeking an Implementation Consultant I to guide new clients through onboarding from kickoff to go-live. You will manage project plans, configure systems, deliver training, and ensure a smooth transition to ongoing support teams while building strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 1–2 years in service roles, knowledge of tax software or SaaS implementations, strong English, and comfort with AI-assisted workflows.

• 1–2 years in service-related roles managing multiple projects and client relationships.
• Foundational understanding of tax compliance software, SaaS implementations, or related product offerings.

• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and technology platforms including project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration software.
• Background check will be required upon hire.

The Role

At Sovos, we're looking for an Implementation Consultant I to guide new clients through the onboarding journey, from kickoff to successful go-live. You'll manage project plans, complete configurations, deliver training, and ensure a smooth transition to our ongoing support teams, all while building strong client relationships and contributing to continuous process improvement.

More Specifically, You Will

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, managing project plans, timelines, risks, and issues to ensure on-time delivery and high satisfaction.
• Complete configuration tasks and document all setup details in comprehensive Client Procedures documents that support long-term success.
• Lead collaborative work sessions with clients to understand their business logic, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver technology-based solutions to their compliance challenges.
• Provide training to clients and execute seamless, well-documented transitions to Client Support or Compliance Services teams upon project completion.
• Leverage AI tools and identify process improvements across implementation workflows, documentation, reporting, and tooling to enhance the client onboarding experience.
• Continue service activities for clients as needed, especially during peak processing periods, ensuring continuity and support beyond initial implementation.

What You Bring to Sovos

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, highly preferred.
• You've built experience in service-related roles, ideally 1-2 years, where you've managed multiple projects, timelines, and client relationships.
• Foundational understanding of tax compliance software, SaaS implementations, or related product offerings.
• Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to comprehend and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and technology platforms including project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration software.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
