Job summary

Sovos Latinoamérica is seeking an Implementation Consultant I in Argentina to guide new clients from kickoff to go-live, manage project plans, configure deployments, and train users. You’ll document setup details and hand over to ongoing support, while enhancing onboarding with AI-powered process improvements and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, highly preferred.
• 1–2 years in service-related roles where you’ve managed multiple projects, timelines and client relationships.
• Foundational understanding of tax compliance software, SaaS implementations, or related product offerings.
• Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills across multiple client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and platforms including project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration software.
• Due to client contractual obligations, you will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients through implementation, managing plans, timelines, risks and issues to ensure on-time delivery and high satisfaction.
• Complete configuration tasks and document setup details in Client Procedures documents for long-term success.
• Lead collaborative work sessions to understand business logic, translate requirements into technical specs, and deliver solutions.
• Provide training to clients and ensure smooth transitions to Client Support or Compliance Services teams after project completion.
• Leverage AI tools to identify process improvements across implementation workflows, documentation, reporting and tooling.
• Maintain post-implementation service activities for clients during peak periods to ensure continuity.

The Role

At Sovos, we’re looking for an Implementation Consultant I to guide new clients through the onboarding journey, from kickoff to successful go-live. You’ll manage project plans, complete configurations, deliver training, and ensure a smooth transition to our ongoing support teams, all while building strong client relationships and contributing to continuous process improvement.

More specifically, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, managing project plans, timelines, risks, and issues to ensure on-time delivery and high satisfaction.
• Complete configuration tasks and document all setup details in comprehensive Client Procedures documents that support long-term success.
• Lead collaborative work sessions with clients to understand their business logic, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver technology-based solutions to their compliance challenges.
• Provide training to clients and execute seamless, well-documented transitions to Client Support or Compliance Services teams upon project completion.
• Leverage AI tools and identify process improvements across implementation workflows, documentation, reporting, and tooling to enhance the client onboarding experience.
• Continue service activities for clients as needed, especially during peak processing periods, ensuring continuity and support beyond initial implementation.

What You Bring to Sovos

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, highly preferred.
• You’ve built experience in service-related roles, ideally 1-2 years, where you’ve managed multiple projects, timelines, and client relationships.
• Foundational understanding of tax compliance software, SaaS implementations, or related product offerings.
• Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to comprehend and explain complex concepts clearly.
• Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and technology platforms including project management tools, CRM systems, and collaboration software.
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
