Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Technical Installation Engineer to join its team in Sandton, Gauteng. The role covers planning, configuration, on-site execution, and final testing of complex systems, with a healthy mix of hands-on work and remote coordination.

You will work with clients and internal R&D teams, develop installation plans, document procedures, and ensure seamless integration and performance across projects. A strong engineering background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Installation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and system integration.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the technical installation of complex equipment and systems.
• Develop detailed installation plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify performance.
• Provide expert technical support to clients and installation teams during and after deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams on installation best practices and feedback.
