Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager focused on Finance and Operations to drive strategic initiatives in a hybrid Sandton-based role. You will lead cross-functional teams, improve financial systems, and optimize operational processes.

The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience in finance/operations, a strong analytical mindset, and a track record of delivering successful financial software implementations. Hybrid work in Gauteng is offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

7+ years in project management with a focus on finance and operations.
Experience leading financial software implementations, process re-engineering, or operational upgrades.
Strong understanding of financial principles and operational best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; PMP desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of projects related to financial systems, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business needs.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
Collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and other departments for seamless project integration.
