Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Telecom Project Manager to lead telecommunications projects in Sandton. You will plan, execute, and finalize projects on schedule and within budget, coordinating internal teams and third-party contractors to deliver value.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in complex telecom deployments, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of PMP/Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required in engineering, business administration or related field.
Proven working experience in project management within telecommunications.
Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies, infrastructure and lifecycles.
Excellent knowledge of project management software and methodologies (PMP, Agile).
Strong leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for telecom initiatives.
Coordinate and direct work of project team members, contractors, and vendors.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues with mitigation strategies.
Ensure deployment and integration of new telecommunications systems and technologies.
Communicate project progress, status, and outcomes to all stakeholders.
