Trinetix in Buenos Aires is seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to monitor and troubleshoot networks across IP/MPLS, xWDM and related infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence 2 days per week at our Microcentro office. 3–5+ years of NOC experience, strong TCP/IP, BGP, QoS, and CCNP Enterprise knowledge are desired.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment.
• Strong technical expertise in network troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platforms.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM technologies.
• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, incident handling, and fault management.
• Experience working with Linux/Windows environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
• Experience in documenting incidents and maintaining clear technical reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the network across IP and transmission platforms (including xWDM) and underlying infrastructure.
• Act on alarms indicating service-impacting and potential service-impacting issues.
• Initiate and perform troubleshooting of faults and outages across relevant platforms.
• Resolve incidents at first line whenever possible, minimizing escalation.
• Take full ownership of incidents and drive them to resolution and restoration.
• Collaborate with third-party providers during troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation during and after incident resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders during major incidents.
• Track SLA commitments and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Prepare root cause analyses and outage reports.
• Act as SPOC during planned maintenance and outages.
• Configure and contribute to the development of NOC monitoring tools and processes.
