Political Asylum Lawyers seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager (Hands-on) to oversee daily financial operations, billing, payroll, and cash flow. This role partners with leadership to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls while supporting strategic planning for a national client base.

The manager will work hands-on with staff to establish reliable financial operations, learn firm systems, and gradually take on planning and reporting responsibilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with trust/IOLTA accounting and reconciliations.
• Experience with billing systems, client payment plans, collections, and A/R management.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial leaders.

Mansioni

• Perform day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain clean, current financial records and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting on time.
• Manage billing, collections, A/R, and trust accounting processes.
• Oversee payroll, tax coordination, and compliance controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
