Job summary

Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel is seeking a Reservations Agent to handle guest requests by phone, fax, or email, confirm availability, and input accurate rates. You will explain policies, accommodate special requests, and maintain a professional, sales-focused approach in a Marriott-affiliated property.

Provide courteous service, work with the reservations team, and help maximize revenue through effective upselling and accurate data entry in the reservation system.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type.
• Verify availability of room type and rate.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
