AgileEngine in Mendoza region is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to assess existing reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community.

We require strong experience in requirements management, process mapping, and documentation, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and drive reporting portfolio improvements with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of strong business analysis and requirements management experience.
• Able to interview stakeholders and run requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Develop process maps, requirements documentation, reporting inventories, and roadmaps.
• Identify duplications, gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for simplification.
• Ability to work across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Create a comprehensive inventory of current reports, dashboards, metrics, and related reporting artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand the original business need, audience, and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, consistency, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports that no longer serve a meaningful purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommission.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas that consume reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and working sessions to understand objectives and needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile conflicting requirements and establish a consolidated view of reporting demand.
• Maintain traceability between needs, requirements, reports, metrics, and outcomes.
• Develop target-state reporting portfolio based on findings.
• Define reports to address unmet business needs.
• Define enhancements where existing reporting partially meets requirements.
• Define consolidation where multiple reports address similar needs.
• Define retention for reports that remain effective.
• Define retirement for obsolete reporting.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, stakeholder need, and dependencies.
• Develop a roadmap from current to future state.
• Establish ownership for reports, data sources, and requirements.
• Define standards for documentation, definitions, data lineage, and metadata.
• Create a sustainable change-management process.
• Set review cycles to reassess usage and relevance.
• Define criteria and governance for retirement of reports.
• Maintain a reporting catalog with ownership and status.
• Engage stakeholders regularly on continued usefulness.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, usability, and efficiency.
• Monitor changing requirements and translate into enhancements.
• Encourage move from manual reports to standardized solutions.
• Use feedback and usage data to inform portfolio reviews.
