Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations and Growth to own daily work across marketing, sales, and client delivery. You will report to the founder and oversee budgets, department leads, and client outcomes to drive profitability.

The role requires a track record of leading B2B service teams, strong commercial judgment, and excellent English communication. Remote with regular overlap to US Central Time; candidates from LATAM, South Africa, or similar regions are welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or business leadership.
• 2+ years managing several functions or team leads.
• Experience running a B2B agency, consulting business, sales enablement company, or software with service teams.
• Strong spoken/written English; comfortable with CRMs, dashboards, spreadsheets, SOPs, and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Performance: lead the marketing owner on campaigns, content, funnels, booking flows, and sales materials. Track qualified calls and acquisition cost.
• Sales Execution: manage sales lead, pipeline, follow-up, forecasts, and cash collection with finance. Client Delivery: manage audits, onboarding, setup, coaching schedules, client reporting, support, and renewals.
• People and Accountability: set weekly priorities, assign owners and deadlines, run leadership meetings, coach team leads, and identify hiring needs.
• Profit and Capacity: track delivery costs, staff hours, budgets, margins, refunds, and overdue payments with finance.
• Product Coordination: work with product and technical leads on CRM connections, feature readiness, testing, and client issues.
