Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional SAM team responsible for a large and complex software portfolio across Latin America and other international regions.

You will manage licensing requests, interpret terms across publishers, maintain asset records, coordinate renewals, and support audits while collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams to optimize software usage and cost efficiency. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM or ITAM experience with licensing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
