AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad, building backend services in Java/Spring Boot with an Angular frontend. You will lead technical execution, ensure high engineering standards, and drive a transition toward domain-driven design.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate across disciplines, and own API design and performance. The role offers flexible remote/office options for a dynamic, award-winning tech team.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead with mentoring ability.
• Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with at least 6 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for streaming/messaging.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness.
• Domain-Driven Design with bounded contexts.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with standard protocols.
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate.

Responsibilities

• Act as Squad Lead, drive delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the Angular frontend integration with backend logic.
• Lead modernization toward a domain-driven architecture with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with clean, scalable patterns.
• Mentor teammates and promote agile practices within the team.
• Advocate for architectural integrity and best practices.
