AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, supported by an Angular frontend. You will lead technical delivery, mentor junior developers, and uphold high engineering standards.

This role focuses on modernizing architecture toward domain-driven design, building RESTful APIs, and delivering scalable systems for Fortune 500 brands and top product companies, with flexible remote and office options.

Qualifications

Leadership experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead.
Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with 6+ years of experience.
Hands-on Kafka experience.
Strong knowledge of OOA/OOD, design patterns and architecture.
Deep understanding of domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and JPA/Hibernate.
Backend-focused mindset with solid engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Execution: act as the Squad Lead with high engineering standards.
Core Development: design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Frontend Integration: build and maintain the Angular frontend integration.
Modernizing Architecture: drive domain-driven design with strong bounded contexts.
API Excellence: architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
Team Mentorship & Agile Practices: mentor juniors and promote agile methodology.
Strategic Pushback: defend best practices and architecture integrity.
