Félix is building a new card issuance program and a fraud surface; you will design authorization decisioning, implement controls, and own the end-to-end fraud strategy from onboarding through post-launch monitoring.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in fraud/risk strategy with hands-on card authorization experience.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and data sizing.
• Experience with BaaS / program-manager card issuing vendors (Stripe Issuing, Marqeta, Galileo).
• Strong cross-functional communication across Fraud, Product, Compliance and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud strategy for the card issuance program end-to-end, from pre-launch risk assessment to steady-state monitoring.
• Translate vendor responsibility splits into an operating decisioning model and controls.
• Design and own authorization decisioning for card transactions (approve/decline, 3DS/SCA, velocity limits).
• Monitor fraud health vs card-network thresholds and build early-warning systems.
• Develop the fraud lifecycle: onboarding risk, first-card-use monitoring, BIN- portfolio detection.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed controls in flows, not as post-launch rules.
