Job summary

MAVI is seeking a Finance Business Partner to bridge accounting numbers with business leaders at a high-growth US consumer brand. This fully remote role ( Peru-based) collaborates with department heads on budgets, forecasts, and spend, while ensuring alignment with the general ledger and close processes.

You will drive variance analysis, KPIs, and robust reporting across ecommerce and marketplace channels. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting and FP&A, strong modeling skills, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and FP&A experience.
• Experience in CPG, ecommerce, or retail multichannel reconciliation.
• Experience building budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• US GAAP or IFRS with exposure to US/UK/Canada/Australia.

Responsibilities

• Budget and forecast departmental spending and headcount.
• Build rolling budgets and feed them into the company plan.
• Explain budget vs actual results with root causes and actions.
• Create reporting packages and dashboards for leadership.
• Provide close support: accruals, prepaids, and reclasses.
• Coordinate spend with AP and procurement; monitor cost allocation.
• Reconcile planning data to the general ledger to ensure consistency.
• Reconcile Shopify/Amazon/Walmart payouts to the general ledger.
• Maintain inventory roll-forwards and reconcile systems with GL.
• Perform margin analysis by channel and SKU to guide pricing.
