Job summary

Mercor is seeking a UX Analyst focused on product workflows to design end-to-end experiences for field and reporting tools. You’ll map how property management flows move from field capture through review and reporting, define states and handoffs, and ensure the engineering team can build from precise specifications.

This role emphasizes process over visuals, collaborating with a two-person design team and reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows for B2B/SaaS products.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end workflow mapping from problem to solution.
• Systems thinking approach to states, branches, errors, and edge cases.
• Clear flow documentation and specs that engineers can build from.
• Strong skills in mapping, prototyping, and handoff using Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and tooling to accelerate options.
• Awareness of accessibility considerations (contrast, targets, text size).

Responsibilities

• Map property management workflows end to end (field capture → sync → review → report).
• Redesign flows to reduce steps and remove friction for users.
• Write the logic, branches, and edge cases behind each flow for engineering to implement.
• Define offline and retry states to handle signal loss gracefully.
• Prototype in Figma and validate with quick usability runs.
• Provide annotated specs (states, rules, microcopy) for engineers.
• Review builds, log issues precisely, and verify fixes before sign-off.
