Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own merchant integrations from pre-sales through live deployment and support, focusing on enterprise merchants with custom integrations across web, mobile, and in-store experiences.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope requirements, design solutions, and drive launches while translating complex technical details for both merchants and internal teams. This role blends engineering rigor with sales acumen.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience with mobile SDK integrations on iOS and Android.
• Experience with enterprise, multi-stakeholder integrations.
• REST APIs, webhooks, and reading API documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own technical discovery for prospective merchants.
• Lead product demos and technical presentations for merchant engineering and business stakeholders.
• Design integration solutions across API, SDKs, and platform plugins (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, WooCommerce, Wix).
• Write technical proposals and complete RFP and security questionnaire responses.
• Support merchant mobile app integrations: SDK implementation, in-app checkout.
• Validate integrations in sandbox and production before launch.
• Troubleshoot live integration issues with Support and Engineering.
• Translate recurring merchant needs into product feedback.
• Build and maintain integration documentation and runbooks.
• Act as trusted technical advisor after launch.
