Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value service solutions.

You will build strong relationships with operators like YPF and Pluspetrol, translate technical data into commercial value, and ensure alignment with HSE and Baker Hughes standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Ability to interpret wellbore data and KPIs to drive performance.
• Experience engaging with operators in shale basins and managing complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
