Job summary

BairesDev seeks a Technical Project Manager for Data Center initiatives with a remote work option. You will own the client lifecycle from onboarding to delivery, coordinating hardware deployments, cabling, power/cooling, and remote hands while ensuring SLA commitments and clear status updates.

Lead cross-functional teams, manage Jira/ServiceNow tickets, review work orders, and build scalable processes while staying hands-on with clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in datacenter operations, technical infrastructure, or related field.
• Direct client-facing experience in a technical role with account management exposure.
• Hands-on familiarity with server hardware, cabling, power distribution, and remote hands.
• Proficiency with ITSM/project tooling: Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk or equivalent.
• Experience owning project budgets, SOWs, or vendor orders.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a small technical team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for assigned client accounts through the project lifecycle.
• Lead client onboarding, scoping calls, and technical review meetings.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work orders and internal tickets.
• Manage SLA commitments, report delivery status, and handle escalations directly.
• Own full ticket lifecycle in Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent ITSM platform.
• Coordinate multi-workstream projects across planning, procurement, deployment and sign-off.
• Oversee datacenter operations: rack/stack, cabling, power, cooling, on-site and remote hands.
• Review and validate work orders for technical accuracy before delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors on procurement, lead times, and RMA logistics.
• Ensure adherence to datacenter safety, change management, and access protocols.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and contractors on-site.
• Track budgets, flag overruns, and assist in quotes and SOWs for new engagements.
