Qualifications

• 6+ years with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS, S3, SageMaker.
• Infrastructure-as-code fluency with Terraform required.
• Proven track record auditing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC governance.
• Strong data engineering depth for ETL/ingestion architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Audit the current AWS architecture across live apps and services.
• Review CI/CD processes and SDLC governance; suggest improvements.
• Evaluate AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code).
• Provide opinions on ETL/data-ingestion architecture (managed vs custom).
• Mentor the infrastructure team in AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and data practices.
• Set technical direction and recommendations for changes to the build.
• Report findings to leadership with risk and readiness framing.
