Intrepid Travel is seeking a Contracting Supervisor to lead contracting operations for trips in Peru and Bolivia. You will oversee supplier negotiations, rate management, contract administration and data accuracy while guiding the Contracting team.

You’ll build strong supplier relationships, identify process improvements and ensure compliance with our standards. The role is full-time, hybrid from Lima with some WFH two days per week.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years of contracting, procurement, supplier management, or tourism costing.
• Strong knowledge of tourism industry suppliers, services, contracts, rates, costing structures, and supplier management.
• Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with databases.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze information for sound commercial decisions.

As Contracting Supervisor,you’llplay a key role in building and managing the supplier partnerships that bring our trips to life across Peru and Bolivia.You’lloversee contracting operations, including supplier negotiations, rate management, contract administration, and data accuracy, while coordinating the Contracting team’s day-to-day activities.

You’llbuild strong supplier relationships,identifyopportunities to improve processes, and ensure compliance with company standards. Working closely with internal stakeholders,you’llalso support business growth and help develop a collaborative, high-performing team.

This role is a full-time permanent positionoperatingon a hybrid basis out of our office inLima, Peru -whereyou'llhave the opportunity to work from home two days per week.

A passion for travel is a must-have! With ityou’llbring:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in contracting, procurement, supplier management, or tourism costing.
• Strong knowledge of tourism industry suppliers, services, contracts, rates, costing structures, and supplier management.
• Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with experience working with databases and internal systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Englishproficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to analyze information and make sound commercial decisions.
