Qualifications

• Previous workers' compensation or personal injury experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with litigation processes and legal procedures.
• Experience using case management software.
• Comfortable speaking directly with clients and providing professional, compassionate service.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation calendars and ensure timely completion of all required filings and court-related deadlines.
• Correspond with insurance carriers, clients, and other parties involved in the claims process.
• Track critical deadlines, hearing dates, and case milestones.
• Prepare and file claim forms, pleadings, and supporting documents with the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission.
• Gather, organize, and maintain medical records, wage information, and other case-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate case records using case management software.
• Assist with discovery preparation and case file organization.
• Follow up with prospective and existing clients and maintain regular communication throughout the case lifecycle.
