Political Asylum Lawyers, a Houston-based immigration law firm, seeks a bilingual professional to act as the primary client liaison in Argentina. You will handle daily client communications in English and Spanish, manage case workflows, and assist attorneys and paralegals in obtaining essential documents and updates.

You’ll follow established procedures, keep teammates informed of issues, and adapt to changing tasks while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing immigration applications is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to helping immigrants secure their future through asylum.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Tech-savvy; eager to learn new online systems and procedures.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to serve clients.
• Be the firm’s main point of contact with clients, supporting the legal team.
• Bridge between clients and the legal team; surface questions and relay guidance.
• Return calls and reply to emails from clients and potential clients.
• Provide status updates so clients understand timelines and next steps.
• Set clear expectations with clients about timelines and requirements.
• Help clients perform tasks needed to develop their cases.
• Proactively identify disengaged clients and intervene as needed.
• Coordinate case logistics: appointments, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Proactively manage deadlines and keep cases moving forward.
• Maintain tracking systems to catch clients before they fall behind
• Prepare and submit filings to immigration agencies
• Perform administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements
