AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and drive test strategy across the SDLC.

Responsibilities include hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, collaborating with developers and product teams, and reducing test flakiness. This role offers remote work with global teams and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing/working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic Quality Engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance, and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimations.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
