AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to develop and maintain regression tests for desktop and mobile apps. You will contribute to manual testing, write automation scripts, and drive quality across the SDLC in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC and release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
