Job summary

Nortal is seeking an AI Engineer & Platform Support Lead to scale AI adoption across the business on a select set of platforms. You will own the enterprise AI workspace daily and build integrations, agents, and Slackbots to empower multiple teams.

You will work remotely with a LATAM team, with autonomy, and join our People Care approach. A strong English level is essential to collaborate with US clients and deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on AI engineering: building LLM-powered applications, agents, and RAG/knowledge-base systems; comfort with prompt design, tool/function calling, and API integration.
• Power user of Claude Code (or equivalent agentic coding tools) for real, shipped work.
• Strong general engineering: Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, working with cloud services and webhooks.
• Experience building and operating Slack apps/bots (Slack API, event subscriptions, bot deployment).
• Excellent project management and communication — able to be the calm, organized front door for users while also going deep technically.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize a mixed queue (support + build), and document as you go.
• Advanced English Level isrequiredfor this role,as you will work with US clients.Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to support owner for our AI platforms (Langdock, Gemini, and internal tools), from onboarding and troubleshooting to vendor escalations.
• Monitor platform health and adoption, and keep runbooks and documentation current.
• Build custom integrations, Slackbots, and agents that connect our AI tools to internal content and workflows.
• Make sure what you build is reliable in production, with monitoring and evaluation built in.
• Manage incoming AI use-case requests: scope, prioritize, and route each one to the right tool, and keep stakeholders updated along the way.
