RYZ Labs is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to own architecture and production ML systems across LATAM remote teams. You will drive scalable, multi-tenant AI services, MLOps pipelines, and governance while guiding engineers toward best practices.

You will mentor teams, design reusable tooling, and collaborate with Product Managers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Strong leadership and English proficiency are essential.

Formación

• Location LATAM — remote role.
• 12–15+ years of software engineering, with Production ML Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Hands-on mindset with systems design and coding.
• Experience moving beyond LLM API use to end-to-end ML engineering and MLOps tooling.
• Experience designing distributed, multi-tenant architectures in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.
• Strong English communication for executive stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable production ML systems integrating models, vectors, and agentic workflows.
• Establish evaluation rubrics, observability pipelines, and benchmarks for production models.
• Govern AI safety, prompt security, and data boundary policies.
• Create reusable internal tooling and data infrastructure for developers.
• Define deployment patterns using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and lead architecture reviews and docs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Explain architectural trade-offs to senior stakeholders without jargon.
