Job summary

Bridgenext is seeking an experienced technical lead with an AI-driven mindset to join our LATAM-remote team. You will lead a mixed team of developers and QA engineers, coordinate AI agents, and own delivery of production systems built on .NET, Azure, and Kafka.

You will run discovery workshops, align stakeholders, and coach the team in AI-augmented development, maintaining quality and security. Strong English and client‑facing experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, incl. 3+ years as a tech lead of a mixed team (dev, QA, DevOps) of at least 5 people.
• Delivered and supported production systems, APIs and UI products.
• Experience delivering in short build-and-validate cycles with stakeholder feedback and direction adjustments.
• Facilitated workshops with technical and business audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with architects, QA, product, and DevOps/cloud teams.
• Client-facing experience; English C1/C2 level, spoken and written.
• Expert in .NET 10+ and C#; Azure Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs; Kafka/Confluent.
• API design, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery. Take full responsibility for what the team ships, including quality, timelines and production stability.
• Lead people. Manage a team of dev and QA engineers, covering priorities, growth and team health.
• Work with the business. Run discovery and requirements workshops with product owners and business stakeholders, negotiate scope, and turn the outcomes into clear specs.
• Iterate in short cycles. Ship working increments quickly, validate them with product, business, QA and architecture.
• Align stakeholders. Keep architects, QA, product, and the DevOps and cloud teams on the same page, explaining trade-offs.
• Run AI agents. Coordinate agents across product, business, dev and QA work and verify output.
• Own the architecture. Design and evolve .NET microservices on Azure, built around events on Confluent Kafka.
• Curate the agents' knowledge. Maintain specs, ADRs, conventions and skills for reliable agents.
• Hold the quality bar. Test-first development, automated pre-PR gates, and security and correctness review of AI output.
• Coach the team. Help engineers adopt AI-augmented ways of working.
