Job summary

Engg is hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) for a remote role with a fast-growing education-focused marketing agency. You will own ingestion pipelines, CRM integrations, a BigQuery warehouse, and modular dbt/Dataform transformations to empower Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Python, and experience with Adverity or similar ETL tools.

Qualifications

5+ years in data engineering, preferably in marketing/agency.
Strong experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in ETL platforms.
Advanced SQL with BigQuery experience in transformation and modeling.
Proficiency in dbt or Dataform with modular pipelines.
Python for custom API connections and automation.
Experience with CRM data flows (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Understanding marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and paid platform schemas.

Responsibilities

Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture connecting paid media and CRM into Adverity and warehouse.
Integrate CRM data connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure clean data flow.
Design and manage Google BigQuery warehouse with scalable schemas.
Develop SQL schemas for multi-channel data mapping in dbt/Dataform pipelines.
Maintain CI/CD and data segregation for multi-client environments.
Enable fast, performant Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot, and minimize latency across stack.
