Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 6 years of general accounting experience.
• Experience leading and managing others is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with GAAP and statutory principles.
• Technology-driven mindset with automation and data analytics proficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements reflecting performance under GAAP and statutory principles.
• Record monthly and quarterly journal entries; perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Lead a small team; manage staff, troubleshoot, and conduct meetings.
• Support internal/external reporting and provide analyses to aid business decisions and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes; develop documentation of procedures and controls.
• Provide accounting services to affiliated entities as needed and ensure reporting consistency.
