Assurant, a leading global business services company, seeks a Senior Accountant in Argentina to provide accurate and timely financial information to segment and corporate management. The role includes guiding junior staff, supporting a fast-paced F&A shared services environment, and contributing to the Shared Service strategy.

You will prepare financial reporting, assist in planning and implementing accounting activities, and collaborate with stakeholders including clients.

Competenze

• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups and data analytics; proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite
• In depth knowledge of financial practices, including statutory accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 3 years of Insurance Accounting Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric/Power BI and financial database concepts, including data integration, modeling, querying, and reporting
• Experience using artificial intelligence tools to improve scalability, streamline processes, strengthen analysis, and identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement

• Prepares and assists in financial reporting information, receivables reports and client reconciliations
• Assist in planning and implementations of Accounting work and activities
• Develop and maintain relations with business segments and stakeholders including clients
• Assists in monitoring key performance indicators
• Support compliance and ongoing improvements with internal controls including SOX
• Assist AFS management to help build AFS Brand
• Assist to ensure team meets all deadlines and deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify opportunities and support continuous learning and a continuous improvement culture
• Assist in identifying and developing best practice solutions
• Support and make recommendations to develop efficient and innovative processes by leveraging AI
• Foster open communication and innovative thinking
• Supports accounting system and processes
• Support projects as assigned from planning through implementation, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, validation, user training, cross-functional coordination, communication to stakeholders, risk mitigation, and status reporting, while adhering to established timelines for assigned deliverables.
• Support internal and external audits and provide oversight of internal controls, including control design and execution, documentation, testing, issue remediation, and ongoing compliance with SOX, and applicable policies.
