Belong Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the finance operations in a lean team. You’ll own the accuracy and timeliness of the books, coordinate month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, and supervise automated workflows and staff handling payroll, payables, receivables, and collections.

This role blends full-cycle accounting, system ownership, and leadership, applying US GAAP and building scalable processes with the Finance Data Engineer to speed the close and improve audit

Formación

• Requires 5–9 years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience in a venture-backed startup, scale-up, or fast-growing company is required.
• Strong ability to lead a close in a lean team with complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting external audits including PBC schedules and auditor follow-up.
• Experience preparing budget-versus-actual reporting and collaborating with non-finance budget owners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead an automation-enabled close and manage deadlines, ownership, and outputs.
• Own the balance sheet, ensure reconciliations and material balances are supported.
• Produce monthly financial statements and budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Lead the external audit and maintain audit readiness throughout the year.
• Lead and mentor the finance team; apply US GAAP and document policies.
