The School Psychologist is responsible for supporting the mental health, emotional well-being, and academic development of students. This role involves assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and external professionals to help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments to identify students' needs.
• Interpret data and provide written and verbal feedback to staff and families.
• Support the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and other support frameworks.

Counseling and Intervention:

• Provide individual and small group counseling for students dealing with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress.
• Respond to crisis situations and support students in distress.

Consultation and Collaboration:

• Work closely with teachers, learning support staff, and leadership to support students' social-emotional development.
• Advise on classroom strategies, accommodations, and modifications to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with parents and external specialists (e.g., therapists, doctors, educational psychologists) as needed.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments, interventions, and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and relevant legal regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Educational Psychology, or School Psychology (required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a school
• IELTS Score of 6 is required.
